Fairview is not like most churches you have probably been to. We seem small and large at the same time. We don't get bogged down with voting or church politics. We simply follow the Holy Spirit's leading. We are an Ephesians 4 fellowship. We try to model our church after the early church. Our worship experience happens at both 9 and 10:45am. They are identical (well they are supposed to be) haha. You can also drop by a Connection Group at 8, 9, 9:30, or 10:45 find out more over at fairviewknox.com/groups
We also have Midweek every Wednesday at 6:30 for Kids, Students, Adults, and Choir.
Celebrate Recovery also happens every Thursday evening.
You never know what to expect. God shows up every week and in different ways. We have vibrant worship. We do everything from Elevation and Phil Wickham to hymns of old and the latest Southern Gospel. Our Lead Pastor, Jeff LaBorg, does not pass over delicate passages of scripture and does not shy away from taking a Biblical stand on a variety of subjects. He speaks and teaches out of passion, conviction, and love. We are quite glad God has given us such a great leader and shepherd. If you need prayer be sure to come down and let us know.
Whatever you are comfortable in. There are people in casual, business casual, as well as suits and dresses. Come as you are. We don’t care if you have tattoos and piercings or if you don’t. You will find out very quickly we care about people not what they look like.
